The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. - Proverbs 18:10
The Bible provides what we need to know and serve God, offering hope and guidance to help us navigate through sin and suffering (2 Peter 1:3-4).
Although all of our difficulties may not disappear, when we seek to change God’s way, He will grant us victory over sin and provide lasting hope through the trials of this life.
who do we counsel?
Those who are looking to overcome sin or endure suffering.
For children and teens, we work in concert with their parents, though direct counsel may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We provide counseling to those who don’t attend a church. We require that all who receive ongoing counseling regularly attend Compass Bible Church on Sundays as part of the counseling process.
We don't offer counseling to people who faithfully attend another church. We recommend that if you faithfully attend another church, you seek the wisdom and counsel from the pastors who are responsible for shepherding your soul.
what issues do we address?
Some of the issues we help with are: anxiety, depression, anger, fear, grief, trauma, addiction, sexual sin, abuse, marriage, and parenting.
If you don’t see the problem you’re facing listed above, please reach out.
What is the cost?
Our counseling is free as a generous ministry of Compass Bible Church South Valley. Throughout counseling, you may be asked to purchase low-cost materials (books or booklets) to further your learning.
