Lead Pastor

Josiah grew up as a pastor’s kid (PK) in Atlanta, Georgia. At eighteen years old God drew Josiah to repentance and faith and shortly after called him into vocational ministry. He received a bachelor’s degree at Cedarville University and a master’s degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Josiah is passionate about expositional preaching, leadership development, disciple-making, and the local church. He and his wife Mackenzie are eager to further God’s work in the Treasure Valley through this plant.

Ministry Director

In 2018, God providentially brought Tyler and his wife Sadie to join Compass. After 10 years working in education and serving in various roles at Compass, Tyler has answered the call to full-time ministry. He is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling from Cedarville University.

Morgan Lee

Kids Ministry Director

Morgan’s desire in this Kids Ministry Director role is to partner with families to make discipling kids practical in the day to day of family life. Morgan and her husband Mac have been attending Compass Bible Church since 2009. In that time, Morgan has served in various Kids Ministry contexts for many years.

Kristen Steen

Administrative Assistant

Kristen, and her husband, Kevin, moved to Idaho from the Bay Area in 2017. They have been attending Compass since 2020. In addition to being a homemaker and a homeschool mom to their 4 children, Kristen loves to give the best hours of her day serving the local church.
