Why another church?

At Compass we believe the local church is the most important institution in the world. The root problem with all that is wrong in the world is sin. The solution to the problem of sin is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The local church is the chosen institution to deliver that solution to the world. Because we believe that is true, we believe we need more churches.

  • Local churches are outposts intended to dispense the grace of God to the community around them through faithfully proclaiming the Biblical Gospel.

  • The Treasure Valley has grown by over 100,000 people over the last few years and growth is projected to continue at a rapid pace. As people continue to move to the Treasure Valley, we want to reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded!

  • Development South of the freeway is continuing to pick up. Communities and infrastructure are rapidly being built. We want to position ourselves to serve the growing needs of South Valley for generations to come.
